Peribit Networks SR-55 Sequence Reducer
Peribit Networks has added the SR-55 Sequence Reducer to its line of WAN performance-enhancement products. The SR-55 delivers QoS (Quality of Service) management and other advanced tools aimed at the WAN in general, and at VoIP (voice over IP) configurations in particular. According to Peribit, the SR-55 optimizes network capacity by eliminating the transmission of repetitive data patterns, which can reduce data flow across WAN links by as much as 90 percent. Alacritech SLICware Network Acceleration and iSCSI Acceleration
Alacritech's recently released SLICware Acceleration Suite includes SLICware Network Acceleration and iSCSI Acceleration, which upgrade Alacritech server adapters to enable TCP off-load functionality or iSCSI support. This eliminates hardware upgrades and system reboots. SLICware uses Alacritech IPP (Internet Protocol Processor) ASIC to combine the functionality of a standard NIC and a TCP protocol processor in a single chip. Documentum's ECM Platform raises the bar for document management--including Web content, digital assets and fixed content--providing a unified content service for enterprises. Sybari Software Antigen 7.0
Sybari Software has released version 7.0 of its server-level antivirus solution for Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Exchange 5.5. Antigen includes scan-engine technology from Network Associates, Norman Data Defense and Sophos, and eTrust antivirus engines from Computer Associates International. Version 7.0 allows for filtering based on subject, attachment file name and wild cards, and offers content-management message filtering by subject, sender and domain.
