Peribit Networks SR-55 Sequence Reducer
Peribit Networks has added the SR-55 Sequence Reducer to its line of WAN performance-enhancement products. The SR-55 delivers QoS (Quality of Service) management and other advanced tools aimed at the WAN in general, and at VoIP (voice over IP) configurations in particular. According to Peribit, the SR-55 optimizes network capacity by eliminating the transmission of repetitive data patterns, which can reduce data flow across WAN links by as much as 90 percent.
