MKS Source Integrity Enterprise Edition/MKS Integrity Manager
MKS has made significant upgrades to its MKS Source Integrity Enterprise Edition/MKS Integrity Manager workflow-enabled software-configuration-management solutions. In a review of version-control systems last year, we gave our Editor's Choice award to MKS Source Integrity for its ease of use, platform support and granular security mechanisms (see "Version Control, With Integrity"). Source Integrity's multitier server architecture is aimed at enterprises that need scalable, distributed development. MKS has improved its project configuration, letting users co-develop and share software components from multiple sites and multiple platforms. Integrity Server: $8,000; client licenses for both Source Integrity Enterprise Edition and Integrity Manager: $900.

Mir3 INlogic
Mir3 has introduced its INlogic event-notification system, which promises to facilitate communication between network systems and devices regardless of platform or protocol. INlogic uses bidirectional XML (Extensible Markup Language) API to make communication and event triggers possible to and from any communication device on the network. Events can be queued to be distributed based on priority or can be sent simultaneously. For security, INlogic uses SSL encryption and lets you assign rights to users and groups. Starts at $80,000.
