FatPipe Networks Warp 2.0
  • FatPipe's WARP 2.0 router-clustering hardware aggregates multiple WAN connections for load-balancing and fault tolerance. Supporting aggregate speed combinations between T1, T3, DSL, ISDN and wireless interconnects to 155 Mbps, WARP 2.0 works transparently with multiple ISPs or PoPs (points of presence) and supports NAT (Network Address Translation). Using FatPipe's RAIL (Redundant Array of Independent Lines) technology, WARP dynamically balances load over multiple outbound lines without BGP (Border Gate Protocol) to create a fat pipe for the enterprise. Version 2.0 includes enhancements to policy routing, full SNMP MIB II compliance with improved logging features, reverse mapping of IPsec (IP security) sessions to support IPsec redundancy, and full DNS functionality. $14,500.

Network Physics NP-1000 Internet Traffic Manager 1.1
  • To address the difficulty of managing real-world networks built out of a combination of private WANs, VPNs and extranets, Network Physics has improved its NP-1000 data-center appliance. Placed at the network's edge, the NP-1000 1.1 analyzes traffic for faults at speeds up to 400 Mbps. Examining every packet, including those from appliances outside the control of the network, the NP-1000 sets baseline performance thresholds based on traffic patterns. It filters violations for false positives, root cause and location, and then assigns a severity rating. New version 1.1 alerts include a display of appropriate graphics and guides to aid in further problem diagnosis and correction. Starts at $25,000.

    Turillion Software Technologies eServer Secure
  • Out-of-the-box Web application firewall module eServer Secure brings policy-based protection to Microsoft IIS Web servers and Internet applications such as IBM WebSphere, Macromedia ColdFusion, SQL, Oracle and Microsoft Exchange. Administrators can block against known attacks and vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting, buffer overflow and directory transversal. Version 3.0 enhancements include instant e-mail alerts, regular and automatic downloads of Turillion Certified Attack Signature definition files, and ODBC-compliant logging that creates forensic reports. The software requires TCP/IP connections and connectivity to a nonauthenticating SMTP mail server to receive alerts. $2,495.
