How We Tested
We created a user population with multiple accounts on multiple systems--Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory, Novell eDirectory on NetWare 6, Red Hat 7.2, Windows NT 4 SP6a, RADIUS, and RSA's Ace/Server. Each account was unique, and users would have to remember multiple login credentials. For clients we used Windows 2000 Pro, with and without Client32, and a Red Hat Linux 7.2 workstation. We created an authentication policy and then applied it to each system, with varying levels of success.
