Even with major vendors pumping loads of money into development and marketing of Linux-based solutions, we have yet to see any major deployments in our diverse client base. Can Linux make inroads in the enterprise as a database, messaging or ERP platform? What about widescale deployment on the desktop? We'd love to hear your experiences with pitching, designing and implementing systems based on Linux in your environment. What issues did you face and how did you overcome them? Most important, was it successful? Would you do it again?
