  RADWARE FireProof Balances Firewall Loads With Minimal Complexity April 5, 1999 | ||

How We Tested To evaluate RADWARE FireProof accurately in an enterprise environment we assembled a Class C private network. The clients consisted of nine Cubix Corp. ERS/FT II high-density server chassis, each with seven Pentium 166MMX machines running Linux. The trusted client network included a FireProof system and a Lucent Technologies Cajun P550 Fast Ethernet switch; the untrusted network was comprised of a single 3Com Corp. LinkSwitch 3300 and plugged into our network infrastructure. We conducted tests in three configurations: a single firewall, dual firewalls (clients segmented to split load equally) and a redundant configuration using the FireProof system. |
